Description
This is a description of a drill bit, the HSS standard drill bit, which is made from Hi-speed steel and has an angle point. It is designed for all purpose drilling into steel, non-ferrous metals, and plastic. The drill bit can be re-sharpened several times and is compatible with the following machines: Drill Doctor 360X, Drill Doctor 500X, Drill Doctor 750X, and DAREX V390.

Application:
The drill bit is made from HSS (hi-speed steel) and is roll forged. Standard HSS 118 angle point drill bits are designed as an all purpose drill bit and it will drill into steel, non-ferrous metals and plastic.
Sharpening:
The drill bits are re-sharpenable several times. We recommend the following machines to sharpen the HSS standard drill bits:
- Drill Doctor 360X - Diameter range of 2.5mm - 13mm
- Drill Doctor 500X - Diameter range of 2.4mm - 13mm (19mm accessory available)
- Drill Doctor 750X - Diameter range of 2.4mm - 19mm
- DAREX V390 - Diameter range of 3-19mm
